How do UV Wands Work?
A while back I started using UV wands to amplify my housecleaning and take it up to the next level. A lot of people have not heard of these wonderful devices but I sweat by them. They are a quick and easy way to disinfect your house including all your bedding and linen, even your furniture.
So how do they work? Well to start with, you need to know what ultraviolet (UV) light is. UV light is a range of light that is not visible to you or me, but is a natural part of the spectrum of light put out by the sun. We receive a small amount of UV light in sunlight which is fine but a concentrated dose is harmful, especially to smaller creatures like germs, dust mites and bacteria.
A UV wand is essentially a handheld UV device. You pass it over something you want to disinfect and you pull the trigger, dosing the target with UV light and killing nearly all the germs and dust mites on it. Once you turn off the wand the light is shut off and everything is perfectly safe to handle. It is like a laser blaster to kill bacteria.
I have noticed a real difference since getting my UV wand. It seems like thbe air is cleaner in my house. My allergies are under control, and I feel clear and well rested. I’m very glad that UV wands are out there and I hope moe people learn about them and start using them.
